In response to the introduction of a new planning system for South Australia including policies protecting the Colonel Light Gardens State Heritage Area, Heritage South Australia (Heritage SA), Department for Environment and Water is reviewing and updating the existing heritage guidelines for the suburb to ensure they are fit for purpose, consistent with terminology in the proposed Planning and Design Code (Phase 3 - Urban Areas) and reflect the Colonel Light Gardens Statement of Heritage Significance.
To support property owners, residents and others to understand the proposed changes to the guidelines (not a current or potential development application) and make a submission, Heritage SA is offering the opportunity to talk face-to-face (in a COVID-safe manner) to a Heritage SA officer about the draft updated guidelines.
Please note that due to COVID 19 this is not a drop-in session and bookings are essential, with a maximum of 2 people per 15-minute appointment.
